Green Impact Business of the Year

For this category, here's what we're looking for…

This award recognises businesses that have successfully combined commercial success with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Judges will be looking for organisations that have embedded sustainability into their business strategy and can demonstrate measurable environmental impact alongside business growth.

Entries should showcase environmental initiatives such as carbon reduction, resource efficiency, sustainable products or services, and innovative approaches to environmental management. Judges will also consider evidence of business performance, including growth, profitability, expansion, and job creation.

Basic criteria:

• Must be a business residing in the Borough of Tameside.
• Must be a business which is currently actively trading.
• The business must have a good compliance record with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
• Must employ at least one Tameside resident.
