Manufacturing/Engineering Business of the Year

For this category, here's what we're looking for…

This award recognises businesses that have demonstrated significant success in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Judges will be looking for organisations that have introduced innovative products, services, technologies, or processes, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Entries should showcase investment in research and development, operational excellence, and strong supply chain management. Demonstrating a commitment to health and safety, and environmental responsibility and sustainability, is key.

Judges will also consider business growth, market expansion, customer satisfaction, and measurable achievements.

Basic criteria:

• Must be a business residing in the Borough of Tameside.
• Must be a business which is currently actively trading.
• The business must have a good compliance record with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
• Must employ at least one Tameside resident.
