Starting and growing a business takes vision, determination, and resilience. This award recognises entrepreneurs who have successfully turned a business idea into a thriving enterprise within a short period of time.

Open to businesses that have been trading for less than three years as of 9 October 2026, this category celebrates companies that have identified a market opportunity, developed and delivered a product or service, and achieved measurable success.

Judges will consider factors such as business growth, financial performance, innovation, job creation, and evidence of customer satisfaction. Entrants should demonstrate how they have overcome challenges, built a strong foundation for future success, and established a competitive advantage within their market.
